Donna, Lava and Cliff- Thank you!
Update- Had an 8w 5d scan yesterday to make sure everything was well and it is. 173bpm on the heart beat and baby is measuring a few days ahead at this point! Spinal column and brain are forming and that was cool to see on the scan.
Turns out there was a twin that was not seen on the 6w 4d scan I had but unfortunately, it only measures at 6w 3d with no HB. While that is sad, I am just elated to have a healthy and growing baby in there right now. Finally able to breathe!
Oh man, that's tough news. It's great that your baby is on track, but a little bit of sadness mixed in. Though I have known quite a few people that had a similar experience, and there are probably many more that don't even realize it because they don't have an early scan!
Anyway, what I'm (ramblingly) saying is, glad to hear all is well. Enjoy the holidays and new year! Are you telling family/friends yet?
