Fall-Back Thermal Shift

In a Fall-Back thermal shift the chart will have a pattern of a temperature drop on Day 2, followed by a sustained rise in temperature until menses. In a true Fall-Back thermal shift the Peak cervical fluid must occur before the first temperature rise. Otherwise it should be identified as a standard thermal shift with the rule of thumb applied to the first high temperature. This section is for completed charts and not intended for questions.
